Spectacular and shimmering 10-karat gold and diamond Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup tribute ring commemorates Jacques Plante, who won the Cup six times with the Habs. A raised image of Lord Stanley's prized chalice sits in the middle of a bed of diamonds on the tableau of this modern creation which was produced subsequent to the legendary goaltender's death in 1986 and weighs about 22 grams. "Montreal Canadiens" is spelled out on the top and bottom of the bezel, which displays a total of eight bigger diamonds, four in a row on each side. The CH logo in red, white and blue enamel is displayed between "J. Plante" and Jake the Snake's retired number "1" on the left shank. The right shank has "1953-63" stamped on a banner, representing Plante's seasons in Montreal, with "Coupe Stanley Cup Champions" across the top and an image of the old Montreal Forum on the bottom. The maker's mark and "10K" are stamped inside the size 11 band. This dazzling bauble displays sharp details and remains in wonderful condition with light surface scratches.
