Spending his entire HOF career in Montreal which included hoisting Lord Stanley’s hardware an impressive ten times, we have a gorgeous 10K gold and diamond ring that pays tribute to the career of Yvan Cournoyer. Produced by Jostens, this ring has his number 12 front and center on the tableau and includes 18 diamonds. Set onto a large red stone, it is encircled by “Yvan Cournoyer” in sloping letters, along with "1963" (the year of his first game with the Habs) and his retirement year of "1979". One shank has a raised "428 Career Goals", while engravings on the hockey stick blades below reference a number of accolades from Yvan’s career. The opposite side features an image of the old Montreal Forum before its renovation in 1968, Cournoyer's facsimile signature above and the date his #12 jersey was retired in 2005 below. Cournoyer's signature also is engraved on the interior of the band of the size 11 ring which is stamped "Jostens 10K" with the ring having an approximate weight of 30 grams. This limited-edition ring is numbered 8 out of 10. A large flip-top rosewood display box with golden facsimile signature is included, along with an LOA signed by Yvan Cournoyer.
Just light wear is visible throughout, with small scratches present over the band and a few small dings to edges.
