With his especially aggressive style of play earning him the moniker “Bad News”, Gilles Bilodeau was selected by the Toronto Toros in the 1975 WHA Draft, and spent three seasons with the club as they transitioned to Birmingham to become the Bulls. This Bulls jersey was originally gifted to a non-profit organization in Alabama by an ex-Bulls team trainer, and it’s a vintage garment from the period matching the examples worn by Bilodeau. A Russell Athletics label with “L” sizing graces the collar, with the desirable sweater measuring-out to roughly a size “50”. Styled with a rubberized Bulls team crest, striping bands, and numbers, “Bilodeau” appears over the affixed mesh nameplate in single white twill.
The vintage garment survives in beautiful condition with no obtrusive wear or marks.
