Making appearances at the NHL All-Star Game for six consecutive seasons beginning in just his sophomore season of 1987-88, Luc Robitaille took part in the 1993 event in his hometown of Montreal, where the offered signed Campbell Conference jersey was originally worn. With Maska Air Knit labeling and a size “56” fly tag along the collar, embroidered CCM and NHL patches appear on the bottom hem. Featuring an attractive NHL shield crest fashioned from tackle twill, “20” appears over the sleeves and verso, along with the Stanley Cup centennial crest over the right breast and 1993 All-Star game patch over the right shoulder. Robitaille has added a bold black marker signature to the reverse “0”, with a second worn signature placed over the fight strap. A signed LOA from Luc Robitaille will accompany.
Worn for just a single contest, the jersey shows light wear, with some dirt staining near the right cuff. We should also note some sticky residue visible in a few spots from the jersey previously being mounted by way of two-sided tape.
A portion of the sales from the Luc Robitaille personal collection will benefit the Echoes of Hope Foundation. Founded in 2007 by Stacia and Luc Robitaille, Echoes of Hope strives to awaken the spirit of hope in the lives of children, youth, and young adults in need by alleviating barriers and helping them reach their full potential.
