Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Winning gold with Team Canada the previous season, defenceman Cory Cross again represented his nation in 1998, participating in that year’s IIHF World Championships in Switzerland, where the offered jersey was worn. A Bauer Pro label with “56” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with an IIHF “90th Anniversary” patch just above the left breast. Styled with the familiar Hockey Canada team logo with embroidered detailing, the jersey sports tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching Hockey Canada crests over each sleeve and sponsorship patches over each shoulder. Exhibiting light game-use with a few marks over the front and faint board burns over the left sleeve, the jersey remains in excellent condition.
