Winning a trio of gold medals with Team Canada at the World Juniors and World Championships from 1996 to 2004, netminder Marc Denis again represented his nation in 2006, backstopping Team Canada through five contests including four wins. This Team Canada jersey was worn by the Montreal native at the 2006 IIHF World Championships in Latvia. An IIHF label with Nike “58” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with an additional IIHF crest situated over the reverse hem. Styled with the vintage Team Canada crest with embroidered detailing, the polyester jersey sports tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching Hockey Canada crests over each shoulder along with “Zepter” advertising patches. A Nike inventory bar code resides on the inside hem, with the dual-clasp fight strap intact. Sporting just very light wear, the jersey remains in excellent condition.
