The Hart Memorial Trophy winner as the NHL’s most valuable player in 2011, Corey Perry has represented his nation throughout his career, winning gold with Team Canada at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics. This Team Canada jersey was worn by the Haileybury native at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, specifically during the second and third periods of the September 20th group stage game vs the US. Adidas “58” sizing is listed along the interior collar piping, with “WCH” and Adidas crests over the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a stylized and layered white, red and black maple leaf team crest, the polyester jersey has been accented with ventilated red twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the WCH crest over the left shoulder and SAP advertising patch over the right. There is also a “Game Worn” Fanatics Authentic patch over the inside hem, with a hologram from the company numbered “ZZ0039057” placed over the fight strap along with handwritten “3”.
Worn for just a pair of periods, the jersey remains in beautiful condition, with very light wear visible. We should also note that Perry scored the game winner in the semifinals vs Russia.
