The first overall selection at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins first represented his nation at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup in 2010, followed by the World Championships in 2012 and the World Juniors in 2013. Captaining Team Canada at the 2013 World Junior Tournament, Nugent-Hopkins wore these signed and photo-matched gloves, and their accompanied by a signed canvas display that pictures Nugent-Hopkins with Team Canada, with the image used for the photo-match. Bauer Vapor Pro models in Team Canada colours, “9” is handwritten in each palm and within the interior. The gloves exhibit moderate use with some rubbing to the material and wear to the palms, with Nugent-Hopkins signing the left glove in sliver, with the signature displaying well (there is also a hologram affixed). The canvas is approx 18” x 18” and signed in silver. An LOA from Hockey Canada will accompany.
Regarding the aforementioned photo-match, the canvas image has been matched to the small white marks visible on the upper reverse knuckles just above the wrist guard and to their specific shape and placement, the image is also matched to the additional white mark on the edge of the wrist guard, the black wear pattern within the white striping band near the "r" of "Bauer", and to the small red mark present on the white band just above the word "Vapor".
