European star netminders are featured in this lot, with a collection of four signed and game-used sticks originating from the mid-2000s, with examples used by Kari Lehtonen (circa 2006-07 Reebok model used with Atlanta), Nikolai Khabibulin (circa 2005-06 Bauer model used with Chicago), Olaf Kölzig (2005-06 Vector model used with Washington) and Evgeni Nabokov (circa 2003-04 Vic model used with San Jose). Each stick sports the respective player’s name over the upper shaft and retains the original tape jobs. The Nabokov has been signed on the upper paddle and exhibits a few chips to edges on the paddle and at the top of the heel. The Khabibulin has been signed on the blade in black marker and shows heavy use throughout, with numerous puck marks as well as a few cracks to the paddle. The Lehtonen has been signed at the heel in black marker and also shows heavy game-use with wear and marks throughout, with the shaved handle area sticky. Lastly, the Kolzig has a date stamp of “31 JAN 2006” and has been signed on the upper paddle in silver (weak signature), with moderate game-use shown including a tear to the blade tape and red paint transfer on the handle tape.
