Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Beginning his Hall of Fame career with a season in the WHA with Birmingham in 1978-79, Michel Goulet was drafted by Quebec in 1979 and spent 11 seasons with the Nordiques followed by additional time with the Chicago Black Hawks. The 1,100+ point scorer would win a pair of Stanley Cup championships as an executive with Colorado. From possibly very late in his career, or, as no images can be found with these exact models, used in an oldtimers or post-career coaching capacity, we have a pair of Goulet sticks with an example that saw use along with an issued specimen. Slightly differing Titan ASD models with “M. Goulet” stamped to each, the used stick sports tape over the blade and handle, with just light use exhibited which includes wear to the underside of the blade and marks to the shaft. The issued example has a faded date stamp on the lower shaft, with Goulet signing the blade, with the thin black marker signature displaying nicely. Originating from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
