Skating in just over 100 regular-season contests for the Los Angeles Kings in the early-1970s, Serge Bernier would score 57 points for the club including 33 goals. Originating from his personal collection, we have a 1996-97 30th anniversary Kings’ jersey that was most likely worn by Bernier at some celebratory event, and it’s accompanied by a pair of Kings’ uniform socks, a 1990s Kings practice jersey and a pair of “Sports Pages” volumes featuring sporting news from the Los Angeles Times. Featuring the club’s original “royal” colours of purple and gold, the jersey has Center Ice and Starter labeling with “56-R” sizing, with “21” over the sleeves and verso and “Bernier” across the affixed nameplate. The uniform socks have CCM labels and show no damage. A signed LOA from Serge Bernier will accompany these great Kings items.
The practice jersey is in solid white with a tackle twill Kings team crest and “58” sizing, with heavy use exhibited. The LA Times volumes are matching and feature reproduced sporting articles from 1883 to 1990, with both in high grade with no issues.
