One of Motor City’s all-time greatest, Steve Yzerman spent his entire career with the Detroit Red Wings, registering over 1,700 points including almost 700 goals. This signed stick was used by the perennial captain and superstar during the 1991-92 NHL season, where he registered 103 points. A Louisville TPS model with “Yzerman” stamped, the original black tape remains over the blade and red cloth wrap over the shaved handle/knob, with no striping accents over the lower shaft. Yzerman has signed the lower shaft in black marker adding “Best Always”, with the signature bold and flowing. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
The stick exhibits light use, with wear to the taped section of blade including the underside, with additional wear and marks to the shaft. There is also a date code on the lower underside of the shaft of “FEB 20 1992”.
