MLB's all-time saves leader, accomplishing the feat in 1992 before being surpassed the following season by Lee Smith, Jeff Reardon was selected by the Montreal Expos at the 1973 amateur draft, spending six seasons with the club. Selected as an MLB All-Star in 1985 and 1986, this signed Expos jersey worn by Reardon originates from the 1984 season. A Rawlings label with “44” sizing resides along the collar, with a chain-stitched “84” year swatch over the front right tail. Featuring a tackle twill team crest with “Expos” affixed in single blue twill beneath, “41” resides over the front and verso, with “Reardon” arching over the upper reverse in matching material. The 1987 World Series champion has signed within the team crest in thin blue ink, with the signature bleeding in to the material somewhat. A handwritten “X” has also been added over the front left tail.
With each button intact, the jersey exhibits light wear with no obtrusive marks or damage.
