Important contributors to Detroit's record seven straight regular season titles highlight this potent ensemble with the 1951-52 Red Wings considered one of the most potent teams of all-time. Rookie cards from '51-52 feature perfect and near perfect autographs of Ted Lindsay, Red Kelly, Alex Delvecchio, Marcel Pronovost, Vic Stasiuk, Marty Pavelich, Leo Reise, Glen Skov, Benny Woit and Metro Prystai, with the latter card accompanied by a PSA EX-MT 6 label and the condition of the other cards outlined on our website. Two '52-53 representatives are RCs of Larry Zeidel (added "The Rock" beneath his sig) and Johnny Wilson, with that card previously graded NM-MT 8 (OC) and the PSA label to be included. Please visit our website for COA details and more images - this is a captivating group.
Noteworthy regarding the HOFer rookie cards is a light crease and paper loss (front)(Delvecchio), with subtle evidence on the reverse of once having been glued. We would say that the slightly rounded corners of the Kelly send it to VG, while the apparent EX Lindsay measures markedly short compared to the rest. The Pronovost is VG-EX+, with a small crease in the Pavelich and the three others crease-free and averaging EX. The '52-53 Zeidel has "Cup '52" added on the back, with Larry also correcting his birth year with "1927" and a "7" penned over the "8" in 1928. Finally, Certificates of Authenticity from A.J. Sports World are with the Delvecchio, Kelly, Lindsay and Wilson cards, with a Frozen Pond COA authenticating the Pronovost sig. Lots of possibilities with this stirring collection.
