Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2020
Slightly taller than the first series of tumblers issued the previous season, York Peanut Butter again produced a set of glasses for the 1961-62 NHL season, and complete at eleven, four tumblers each were made for Montreal and Toronto along with a trio featuring Detroit players. This collection includes four glasses from the 1961-62 promotion including a pair of Red Wings (Howe and Delvecchio) and a pair of Leafs (Keon and Duff). With these examples much harder to locate than glasses produced for the 1960-61 promotion, condition is pleasing across the board, with each remaining fully intact with bright applied graphics and no chipping or cracking whatsoever. There are just a few minor scratches to the Delvecchio tumbler to note.
