Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Founded as the Washington Senators in 1901 and relocating to the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” in 1961, the Minnesota Twins wore this style of jersey for approx the first ten years after relocating, and as such, we are unable to determine which of several players wearing the #30 would have donned the uniform. Wilson labeling with “42” sizing is affixed to the collar, with a second laundering tag over the front left tail. Featuring “Twins” in script across the chest and “30” to verso both in tackle twill, there is also a team patch on the left sleeve. The matching pants are also tagged Wilson with “34” sizing within the waistband. Sporting solid wear to the jersey with the shoulder seams partially separated, there are a few small areas of staining/discolouration to the pants. An LOA will accompany.
