A member of the Slovak national team that competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics, Martin Marincin made his NHL debut with the Edmonton Oilers in 2013-14 before being traded to Toronto for Brad Ross and a fourth-round pick, in June of 2015. This Leafs jersey was worn by Marincin in 2016-17. A label with “56” sizing resides over the inner collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Featuring a vintage style Leafs team crest with “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered, “52” appears over the sleeves and verso in oversized single navy twill, with “Marincin” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. The jersey also sports the NHL centennial crest over the right sleeve, with a price tag from the team store affixed to the laundering tag. “2” has also been handwritten over the fight strap to denote second set. Exhibiting light game use, there are a few random marks visible, with board burns over the right sleeve along with a few small resulting holes. Getty Image #643723912 (Feb 2, 2017) has been matched to the distinctive dark mark directly beneath the team crest, and specifically to its exact shape and placement. The team patch numbered “G0099” is situated over the inside hem, with a matching COA to accompany from the Leafs.
