A gold medal winner with Team Canada at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, Dan Boyle went undrafted, and dressed for a quartet of NHL clubs throughout his lengthy career, with a Stanley Cup championship won with Tampa Bay, in 2004. This photo-matched Sharks alternate captain’s jersey was worn by Boyle in 2013-14, specifically between March 12, 2014 and April 13, 2014. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with an attractive and textured Sharks team crest, the faux tie-neck has been accented with “22” over the sleeves, upper front and verso in teal-over-black tackle twill, with matching team crests over each shoulder. Exhibiting nice game-use, there are a few dark marks over the left sleeve, with board burns and small resulting holes over the right. Getty Image #479084487 (March 14, 2014 vs the Islanders) has been matched to the specific bent middle section of the "2" of "22" over the right sleeve, to the exact length and placement of the left side draw string over the collar, to the specific frayed threading along the left side of the alternate's "A" over the left breast and to the orange thread visible within the black striping band section over the left sleeve. The team patch has also been added to the inside hem.
