The third overall selection at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Alex Galchenyuk first gained seasoning with Sarnia in the OHL for a trio of seasons before making his debut in a Habs sweater, on Jan 19, 2013. The Milwaukee native is currently with Minnesota. This Canadiens Set 1 home jersey was worn by Galchenyuk in 2017-18, from Oct 10, 2017 until Dec 14, 2017. An Adidas band with “56” sizing appears along the inner collar with heat-pressed “1”, with NHL and Adidas crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Galchenyuk” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. The NHL centennial patch also resides over the upper right sleeve. Exhibiting moderate game-use, there is a stick mark over the front band, with a few burns visible over the upper and lower right sleeve. There are also two material-backed team repairs within the upper right sleeve. Getty Image #889116586 (Dec 9 2017 vs Edmonton) has been matched to the stick mark visible over the front white band and specifically to it's exact size, shape and placement, and to the bend clearly visible within the upper right section of the "2" of "27" over the left sleeve, while Getty Image #884601196 (Dec 2, 2017 vs Detroit) has been matched to the slit visible to the lower right of the centennial patch over the right sleeve, and to the trio of additional small slits and their specific placement just above the centennial patch. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, the team patch (A05578) sits on the inside hem, while a hologram numbered “GU22174” from the Canadiens has been affixed to the reverse “7”, with a team LOA to accompany matching both numbers.
