Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
From a wonderful time to be a kid and hockey card collector come these colorful blasts from the past, with the thought of a Ken Dryden rookie card coming to mind at the sight of two packs of 1971-72 Topps cards. One has been encapsulated and graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, while the same mark was given by GAI to the other, with different wax pack variations to note. It's cool how one can see part of the back of a "Hockey Booklet" (like the one advertised on the front of the wrappers) through the wrapper (upper right corner). Meanwhile, a likeness to Hall of Fame goalie Tony Esposito appears on the front of two Topps packs from '72-73. Again, wrapper variations are present, with both packs deemed authentic and unopened by GAI. One is graded NM-MT 8, with other at 7 NM. A fab four to arouse enthusiasts of unopened material!
