A graduate of Quinnipiac University, Matthew Peca spent a trio of seasons in the AHL with Syracuse before making his NHL debut with Tampa Bay, in 2016-17. The Petawawa native also appeared in 44 contests for Montreal, spead over a pair of seasons. This photo-matched Canadiens Set 1 road jersey was worn by Peca during his rookie era, in 2018-19, from Oct 3, 2018, to Nov 23, 2018. An Adidas band with “54” sizing appears along the inner collar with handwritten “1”, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Peca” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. Exhibiting nice game use, there are a few faint marks visible, with a small hole and a bit of red paint transfer near the right cuff. There are also two material-backed team repairs over the lower left sleeve. Getty Image #1047807600 (Oct 6, 2018 vs Pittsburgh) has been matched to the extended white threading visible near the middle right area of the "6" of "63" on the right sleeve, to the extended red threading visible within the white collar section just above the right shoulder seam, and to the extended blue threading visible on each side of the "H" of the team crest, while Getty Image #1072287730 (Nov 15 2018 vs Calgary) has been matched to a number of extended threads visible within the "3" of "63" on the left sleeve, including the white threading in two spots along the bottom, the blue threading visible over the bend on the upper left section, and the red threading visible along the right side border. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, the team patch (A06269) sits on the inside hem, while a hologram numbered “GU25044” from the Canadiens has been affixed to the reverse “3”, with a team LOA to accompany matching both numbers.
