Pitting Canadian clubs against each other, the 2014 Heritage Classic featured the Ottawa Senators from the nation’s capital taking on the hometown Vancouver Canucks, at BC Place, on March 2, 2014. Remembered as the last game Roberto Luongo played for Vancouver, the Sens would double-up on the Canucks, 4-2. This Ottawa Senators jersey was worn by netminder Craig Anderson during the first period of the event. A “Goalie Style” label and “58” size tag are affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and reverse neckline respectively. Styled with the vintage-style large “O” team crest in pseudo-felt, “41” resides over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with the Heritage Classic crest over the right breast. A patch from MeiGray numbered “K09515” resides on the inside hem with an NHL/MeiGray LOA to accompany, and according to the MeiGray population report, the jersey is a "Cream - Heritage Classic 3/2/14 - NHL Set - Worn Period 1 - 3/2/14 At BC Place" example.
Worn for just a single period, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition with no obtrusive marks or wear.
