This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Originating from his post-playing days, we have a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey that was worn by Team Canada legend Paul Henderson at the first-ever Hockey Hall of Fame Legends Game, played at the Air Canada Centre (now Scotiabank Arena), on Nov 12, 2000, and it’s been multi-signed by 28 players from the Leafs Alumni team as well as the NHL Alumni team, including Henderson, along with Ken Dryden, Denis Savard, Steve Shutt, Gilbert Perreault, Marcel Dionne, Rick Martin and others. The jersey is accompanied by a pair of matching, multi-signed sticks with Toronto graphics, with one signed by a dozen Leafs from the 2002-03 squad including Robert Svehla, Wade Belak, Josh Holden, Paul Healey and others, while the other is signed by 21 members of the 2005-06 Leafs, including Alexander Steen, Alexei Ponikarovsky and Matt Stajan. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Paul Henderson will accompany.
The remaining signers on the jersey include Rene Robert, Joe Mullen, Dale Tallon, Allan Bester, Phil Esposito, Bill Derlago, Don Awrey, Peter Stastny, Lanny McDonald, Ron Ellis, Rick Vaive, Bobby Baun, Darryl Sittler, Rod Gilbert, Michel Goulet, Tiger Williams, John Anderson and others, with the blue marker signatures displaying well. The jersey itself shows light wear with no issues. The remaining signers on the 2005-06 stick include Ken Klee, Chad Kilger, Clarke Wilm and others, with the signatures on both sticks standing out nicely against the white background.
