Two great Los Angeles Dodgers aces, Clayton Kershaw and Orel Hershiser, have each signed a featured item in this four-piece lot that includes two lithographs individually signed by HOFers Gaylord Perry and the late Frank Robinson. Kershaw signed his Dodgers No. 22 jersey and Hershiser signed a Dodgers souvenir cap. Each of the four individually signed items comes with JSA Basic Certification.
Three-time NL Cy Young winner (2011, 2013-14) Clayton Kershaw signed in silver paint pen on the bottom of one of the right number “2” on the back of this white Dodgers home jersey, which has Majestic Authentic Collection size 48 tagging on the left front tail and tags attached to the left sleeve cuff. JSA cert sitcker with No. FF62087 is affixed to the top of the signed number. Through the 2019 season Kershaw had a 169-74 record and 2,462 strikeouts while maintaining a 2.44 career ERA. An eight-time All-Star, Kershaw won the pitching Triple Crown and a Gold Glove in 2011. He pitched a no-hitter on June 18, 2014 and has led the NL in ERA five times, and wins and strikeouts three times each.
Three-time NL All-Star Orel Hershiser has signed in bold black marker on the gray brim of a Dodgers Nike Legacy 91 flex fit baseball cap that features a Dodgers logo crest on the two white panels on the front. JSA cert sticker with No. FF62086 is affixed to the underside of the brim, which has its original retail stickers affixed. Hershiser had a season for the ages in 1988, when he won the NL Cy Young Award and claimed World Series MVP honors while leading the Dodgers to their sixth and most recent title. Hershiser had 23 wins to tie Cincinnati’s Danny Jackson for the NL lead and he set a major league record by pitching 59 consecutive scoreless innings to break the record set by Dodgers great Don Drysdale in 1968. He went 204-150 with a 3.48 ERA and 2, 104 strikeouts with L.A., Cleveland, San Francisco and the N.Y. Mets from 1983-2000.
HOFer Gaylord Perry (1991) placed a big bold blue marker on a 22” x 18” poster of his Sports Legend series 1983 lithograph by artist Robert Handville. JSA cert sticker with No. FF63257 is affixed to the bottom right of the dual image of Perry with the Seattle Mariners, with whom he recorded his 300th win in 1982. Perry was the first pitcher to win the Cy Young in each league, claiming the AL award with Cleveland in 1972 and NL honors with San Diego in 1978.
HOFer Frank Robinson (1982) signed in bold blue marker on a 22” x 18” poster of his Sports Legend series 1983 lithograph by artist Robert Handville. JSA cert sticker with No. FF63256 is affixed to the bottom right of the dual image of Robinson with the Baltimore Orioles. A two-time World Series champion with Baltimore (1966 and 1970), Robinson was the first player to win MVP honors in both leagues. Named NL rookie of the year with Cincinnati in 1956, he won the NL MVP in 1961 while leading the Reds to the pennant. Traded to Baltimore in 1966, he won the Triple Crown and was named AL MVP and World Series MVP while leading the Orioles to their first championship. Named the first African-American manager in the majors with Cleveland, he hit a home run in his player-manager debut for the Indians, his first of 2,241 games as a manager on top of his 2,808 games as a player.
