Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Featuring the original expansion clubs that brought the Original Six era to a close in 1967-68, we have a highly sought group of six pucks, with each all the more desirable as they hail from the personal collection of Canadian hockey legend, Paul Henderson. Included, we have five NHL Art Ross/Converse game pucks from 1968-69, with examples for the Kings, Stars, Penguins, Blues and Flyers, along with an Art Ross/Converse Seals game puck from the 1969-76 period. The 1968-69 pucks feature rubberized team logos and Converse crests, while the 1969-77 puck has a rubberized team logo and screened Converse crest. All pucks show light to moderate wear with toning to the logos, with wear to the Converse crest on the Seals puck. We should also note that each puck is somewhat sticky from the release of interior oils. A signed LOA from Paul Henderson will accompany.
