Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020

A rather mesmerizing photo of a young Nolan Ryan looking directly at the camera lens on his coveted 1968 Topps rookie card has the beholder staring back while contemplating the pitcher's amazing career that kept going and going....and driving up the value of his RC! Things have subsided, rendering card #177 more affordable/attainable years after The Ryan Express' seven no-hitters and 5714 strikeouts, with this example perfect for those not requiring near perfection. With obvious centering issues but no creases, it has been graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Minor corner wear is most noticeable when checking out the back, notably at the upper right corner. Light scratches to the holder are to be aware of. Curiously, Ryan spent 27 seasons in the Major Leagues and this card is being offered 27 years after his remarkable 324-win career finally came to an end.
