This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Currently an unrestricted free agent, Thomas Vanek was selected 5th overall at the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, with appearances made for eight NHL clubs along with representing Austria internationally at the World Championships. This Buffalo Sabres jersey was worn by the 2009 All-Star Game participant in 2011-12, where he scored 61 points in 78 games. A CCM label with “54” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a tackle twill team crest with embroidered detailing, “26” appears over the chest, sleeves and verso in gold-over-white twill, with “Vanek” across the nameplate in single gold twill. The team patch sits on the inside hem beneath a hologram that has been added just above the fight strap, with a matching COA to accompany.
Sporting just light game use, a few faint marks and board burns are visible over each sleeve.
