Remembered for his strong physical play and devastating right hand, Joey Kocur split the majority of his 15 NHL seasons between Detroit and New York, winning Stanley Cup championships with both clubs, including the Rangers in 1994. From his time in Manhattan, we have a Rangers’ jersey worn by the Kelvington native is his final season in The Big Apple, in 1995-96. Gerry Cosby and CCM labels grace the collar along with a size “54” fly tag, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in red-over-white drop-shadow tackle twill, the “Set 1” jersey has been accented with “26” over the sleeves and verso numbers in matching material. The team patch also resides on the inside hem. Game use is light, with a few random marks present including a washed-out stick mark over the lower front, a large team repair beneath the reverse right shoulder and a busted-up fighter's neck on the interior of the collar. The team patch sits on the inside hem, with a MeiGray LOA and COR to accompany.
