Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Spending his complete career with the Montreal Canadiens and enamoured by the entire nation, Jean Beliveau was given the country's highest civilian award when he was named a Companion of the Order of Canada in 1998, with this followed by his name being added to Canada's Walk of Fame, in 2001. Ideal for the autograph collector and a dream for any ambitious dealers, we have a neat collection of signed postcards totaling 249. At the standard 3 ½” x 5 ½”, each Molson Export postcard feature’s big Jean pictured in game action, with statistical text over the reverse. 220 have been signed in black marker, with the remaining 29 signed in blue. The signatures display beautifully, with light handling wear to the postcards themselves. An LOA from the Beliveau family will accompany.
