Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Spending the majority of his earlier career in the AHL with Cleveland, Johnny Bower first donned the New York Rangers sweater at almost 30 years of age, with the bulk of his NHL time later spent with Toronto which included being a part of four Stanley Cup championships. We have a 1954-55 Parkhurst Johnny Bower rookie card that has been recently graded NM 7 by PSA. Mentioning that Bower’s GAA was the lowest for any Blueshirt since Dave Kerr in 1940-41, the card displays beautifully for the assigned grade, with a clean reverse, off-center left-to-right.
