Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Two-time Lady Byng recipient Paul Karyia spent nine full seasons in Anaheim between 1994 and 2003 and finished his career as a member of the 400-goal club. Offered are his matched set of green, grey and plum Easton gloves, worn circa 2001-2003, each displaying a bold black autograph. The gloves show great game use and the right palm had been heavily reinforced. Check out the nifty tape and lace customization at the cuffs! Paul’s white CCM helmet has his colorful “9” decal on the back along with the NHL shield decal. Team decals are applied with “wings” to cover the CCM logos. This style helmet and decal design, paired with an Itech visor with this specific graphic leads us to the conclusion it was worn circa 1998-99. The lid shows obvious game wear inside and out with pitting on the shield.
