Selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, Kasperi Kapanen has played each of his 133 regular-season NHL games in a Toronto Maple Leafs sweater, with appearances made for Finland at the World Juniors and World Championships. From the 2018 Stadium Series contest between Toronto and the Washington Capitals, on March 3, 2018, we have the Leafs jersey worn by Kapanen during the second period, along with his uniform pants, gloves and a trio of 8” x 10” photos. The throwback-style Adidas jersey sports “56” sizing along the collar, with a vintage tackle twill team crest and “24” over the shoulders and reverse, with the Stadium Series crest over the right sleeve. The gloves and pants were both produced by Bauer, with “24” handwritten within the back of the pants and near the palm on each glove. LOAs will accompany for each item.
The jersey also sports a patch from Fanatics over the inside hem, with just light wear visible including a few dark marks over the lower front, with a bit of blue paint transfer near the left elbow. The gloves show a few marks and light wear to each palm, with a bit of discolouration over the right thumb. The pants also show light wear and exhibit a few marks, with blue paint transfer over the right thigh.
