Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Representing Czechoslovakia on the international stage for two solid decades, Vladimir Ruzicka was twice named the top player in the Czechoslovak Elite League, with three of his five NHL seasons spent with the Boston Bruins. Originally gifted to teammate Ray Bourque and hailing from his personal collection, we have a Team Czechoslovakia World Championships jersey worn by Ruzicka in the mid-1980s, circa-1986. An Adidas label is affixed to the collar, with the vintage mesh sweater measuring-out to roughly a size 50. Styled with an attractive Czech shield crest, “17” appears rubberized over the sleeves and verso, with AGFA sponsorship patches over each upper sleeve. A signed LOA from Ray Bourque will accompany. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
There are a few very small holes over the lower front, with dark marks and a few scuffs over the left sleeve.
