Named to the All-College Hockey America Second Team during his final season with the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2009-10, netminder Cam Talbot holds the Edmonton Oilers franchise record for most wins in a season, with 42. We have an Oilers jersey worn by Talbot in 2015-16, along with a signed blocker and glove combo, with all three pieces photo-matched. The jersey sports size “58” labeling along the collar, with all identifiers including the team crest and numbers in tackle twill, with the Rexall Place Farewell patch over the right breast. The blocker and glove are in Oilers colours and were produced by CCM, with “Talbot” embroidered onto each. The jersey also sports a MeiGray patch numbered “M02676”, with a matching LOA from the Oilers to accompany.
The jersey shows great use, with puck marks covering the front, with a small slit near the right elbow. There is also some pilling over the left cuff. The blocker and glove both show and smell of heavy use, with numerous puck marks throughout, with Talbot signing each item in blue marker. For the jersey, Getty Image #514122090 from March 6, 2016, has been matched to a number of marks on the team crest and front of the jersey, while for the blocker, Getty Image #509757844, from Feb 11, 2016, has been matched to a number of black marks. Finally, for both the blocker and glove, Getty Image #511903024, from Feb 23, 2016, has been matched to a number of black marks on each piece.
