This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
This magnificent memento, made of sterling silver, commemorates the Tampa Bay Lightning's Stanley Cup victory in the spring of 2004 and was presented to front office employee Larry Houle. The team's name and lightning bolt logo are on a mini Stanley Cup on the tableau. One shank features the raised images of the NHL logo, the four logos of the teams the Lightning eliminated in the playoffs, the scores of the series and "2004 - 1st Championship". The opposite shank has a logo incorporating the team's logo and "2004 Champions - Stanley Cup". The employee's surname is above and "Staff" below. Ring size is 9, with "Intergold 925" visible on the interior of the band. Fabulous keepsake for years to come recalls the heroics of Richards, Lecavalier, St. Louis, Khabibulin and their teammates and will arrive in its original wooden presentation box.
The ring exhibits especially heavy wear throughout from use, with scratches over the inner and outer band along with the shanks, with a few small edge chips visible as well. The band is also slightly bent, no longer holding its circular continuity.
