Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Joining the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League as an expansion club in 1981, the Beaver Valley Nitehawks have won four Cyclone Taylor Cups, along with a lone Keystone Cup championship, in 2014. We have a pair of Nitehawks jerseys, with a signed alternate captain’s home jersey worn by the first player drafted by the NHL directly from the KIJHL, Kevin Koopman, circa 2004-2006, along with a road jersey donned by Ray Tremblay, circa 2003-06. Both sweaters feature matching attractive team crests with embroidered detailing, along with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The Koopman jersey shows heavy use with burns, pulls, scrapes and marks, with holes over each sleeve along with heavy red paint transfer. The blue sharpie signature has been placed over the left front, and it displays well. The Tremblay jersey also sports heavy use, with burns, marks and pulls abundant, with an L-shaped tear over the lower front and heavy team repairs over each sleeve.
