Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Currently the Kamloops Blazers, the New Westminster Bruins spent a decade in the WHL beginning in 1971, with four consecutive appearances made at the Memorial Cup which included championships won in both 1977 and 1978. We have a Bruins jersey attributed to use by Ken Berry during the 1977-78 Memorial Cup. No labeling is affixed to the collar, with the vintage mesh sweater measuring-out to roughly a size 50. The Bruins team crest has been rubberized along with “19” over the sleeves and verso, with the waist and sleeve bands knit. There is wear to the team crest and numbers, with a few random marks and burns present including a small hole on the right sleeve, with repairs over the collar and beneath the right sleeve’s number.
