A multiple gold medal winner with the Soviets at the World Championships, Canada Cup and Winter Olympics, Igor Larionov skated for the powerful CSKA Moscow squad for eight seasons, with three Stanley Cup championships won during his NHL tenure. Originally gifted to Ray Bourque and hailing from his personal collection, we have a photo-matched Team CCCP jersey worn by the Hall of Fame member at the 1984 Canada Cup. A KOHO label is affixed to the collar, with the vintage mesh sweater measuring-out to roughly a size 48. Featuring “CCCP” across the chest in individually affixed white letters, “11” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Larionov” over the upper reverse. One of the greatest all-time Russian players, this desirable Igor Larionov jersey will be accompanied by a signed LOA from Ray Bourque. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
Game use includes dark marks and scuffs over the lower front, with additional marks and burns over each sleeve. There are four holes/slits over the right sleeve, with a few small holes over the left. There are also a couple small stains on the collar, with scuff marks over the lower reverse. Four included numeric images have been matched to the garment, with the first matched to the cut on the right sleeve in the white band, while the second and third have been matched to the diagonal black mark on the left side hem in the white and red striping. The final image shows the perfect placement of the name including the size of letters and their spacing (especially the space between the N and the O). Additionally, a photo from Rendez-Vous '87 (Getty Image #72807640) seem to be showing the unrepaired cut on the right sleeve in the white band, the unrepaired hole at the junction of the two red bands and the small cut in the white band above it.
