Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019

Finishing 13-points ahead of second-place Toronto and led by Jean Beliveau’s team-leading 34 goals, the Montreal Canadiens would go undefeated and destroy both Chicago and Toronto during the 1959-60 NHL playoffs to claim yet another title. Celebrating their fifth-consecutive Stanley Cup championship – the only club in history to do so – we have a sheet on Club de Hockey Canadien letterhead team-signed by the 1959-60 Canadiens. At 8 ½” x 11”, a Habs logo sits centered over the top section, with executives listed beneath including Kenny Reardon and Frank J Selke. 20 have signed in blue ballpoint including deceased Hall of Fame members Beliveau, Plante, Geoffrion, Moore, Johnson, Harvey and the Rocket, with “Montreal Canadiens 1959-60” handwritten above. The signatures are all flawless, with just a bit of toning to the beautiful sheet itself.
The additional signers include Bonin, Provost, Goyette, Marshall, Pronovost, Backstrom, McDonald, Langlois, Talbot, Hicke, Turner, Tremblay and Henri Richard.
