Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Appearing for 6 different NHL clubs during his career, Todd Bertuzzi also represented Canada at the World Championships and Olympic Games, with NHL All-Star Game appearances made in both 2003 and 2004. We have a Vancouver Canucks jersey worn by the Sudbury native in 2001-02, where he scored 85 points in 72 regular-season games. Labeling with handwritten “2” along with a sewn-down size “58” fly tag sit along the collar, with KOHO and NHL crests over the back neckline and reverse bottom hem respectively. Styled with the Canucks team crest that saw use from 1997 to 2007, the navy V-neck has been accented with textured dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Bertuzzi” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. “Bertuzzi” has also been written over the fight strap, along with his number “44”. A COA from the Canucks will accompany.
Marks, scuffs and fabric pulls are all present, with heavy burns over each sleeve along with some red paint transfer over the right elbow. There is also some pilling in spots.
