Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
During his time with the Boston Bruins in the mid-to-late-1990s, Ray Bourque was still putting up impressive numbers, including scoring 82 points during the 1995-96 NHL season. The stick retains the original white tape over the shaved handle/knob and black over the blade, with “T-3” handwritten over the lower shaft. Bourque has signed over the heel in silver, and the signature displays well. A signed LOA from Ray Bourque will accompany. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
A Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 model, “Bourque 77” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with “Handcrafted Exclusively for Raymond Bourque” on the underside. The stick exhibits just light use, with wear to the taped section of blade, along with a bit of blue paint transfer over the taped handle.
