With a commanding four-goal lead midway through the third period, the Colorado Avalanche would then add an additional marker after a Vancouver Canucks goal to end Game 4 of the 2000-01 Western Conference Quarterfinals 5-1, with the Aves taking both the victory and the series. The stick retains the original white tape over the shaved handle/knob and black over the blade, with “4” handwritten on the knob, with this thought to signify the 4th playoff game of 2001 (two dots have also been added to signify the second stick used in the game). Bourque has signed over the heel in silver, and the signature displays well. A signed LOA from Ray Bourque will accompany. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
A Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 model, “Bourque 77” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with “Handcrafted Exclusively for Raymond Bourque” on the underside. The stick exhibits light use with wear to the taped section of the blade which includes a tear, with additional light wear to the shaft.
