Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019

Currently serving as an alternate captain for the Colorado Avalanche, Erik Johnson was selected first overall at the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, with a single season played for the University of Minnesota after a pair of seasons with the U.S. National Development Team. We have a signed Golden Gophers jersey worn by the Olympic silver medalist during his lone year with the school, in 2006-07. A Pro label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with an embroidered WCHA crest over the left breast. Styled with the school’s large trademark “M” in burgundy and gold layered tackle twill, “4” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Johnson” across the affixed nameplate in single burgundy twill. Johnson has signed within the reverse number in white, with the signature blending into the background material. Game wear consists of a few random marks along with board burns over each sleeve, with additional burns over the lower front and some pilling around the team crest.
