Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019

The first European-trained player to win the Hart Memorial Trophy, Sergei Fedorov is widely regarded as one of the modern era’s most talented players, with three Stanley Cup championships won along with appearances at six NHL All-Star Games. From the 1994-95 season, we have a photo-matched Red Wings alternate captain’s jersey worn by the 1994 Lester B. Pearson-winner. A CCM label and size “54” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM patches on the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the iconic winged-wheel team crest with embroidered detailing, “91” appears over the sleeves and verso in single twill, with “Fedorov” arching over the upper reverse in matching material. The jersey also sports custom-cut sleeves, with the team patch residing over the inside hem.
Dark marks cover the front and sleeves and encompass the team crest, with board burns near the right shoulder. There are also small holes present, situated over the lower reverse and right sleeve, with a pair of team repairs near the right elbow. Getty Image #1144036255 from Feb 20, 1995, has been matched to black marks (some partially washed-out) below the team crest, while Getty Images #1162003439 and #1162003416 (both from April 7) have been matched to the two big black marks near the team crest, and to a number of other marks below the crest, some of which are partially washed-out.
