Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
A modern journeyman seeing action with eight different NHL clubs during his career, Jordan Leopold first won an NCAA national championship with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers in 2002. From his time with Calgary, we have a Flames jersey worn by Golden Valley native in 2003-04, a season that witnessed the Flames advance to the Stanley Cup finals. A label with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and CCM crests over the bottom hem and reverse neckline respectively. Styled with the traditional Flames team crest administered in layered red, gold and black tackle twill, “4” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with team alternate crests over each shoulder. Showing heavy game use, there are a number of dark marks covering the front and sleeves, with some blue paint transfer directly beneath the team crest. There are also burns over each sleeve, with a pair of small holes/slits over the upper right sleeve. A patch from MeiGray numbered “B02053” sits on the inside hem, with the accompanying LOA denoting the garment as a “White 2nd Regular Season” example.
