Winning the Hobey Baker Award for being the season's outstanding player in college hockey while playing for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers in 2001-02, Jordan Leopold spent parts of a dozen seasons in the NHL including four with Calgary in the early-2000s. We have a Flames jersey worn by the Golden Valley native in 2002-03, his rookie season. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with KOHO and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the alternate Flames team crest that saw use from 1998 to 2006, “4” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching team crests over each shoulder. Exhibiting light use with board burns over each sleeve and a bit of red paint transfer near the left elbow, the jersey remains in beautiful condition. A MeiGray patch numbered “A01003” sits over the inside hem, with the matching LOA to accompany denoting the garment as a “Black 1st Regular Season” example.
