Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Seeing collegiate hockey action for a pair of seasons with the University of Minnesota in the mid-1990s, Erik Rasmussen later dressed for Buffalo, Los Angeles and New Jersey, with a single season played in the SM-liiga with Ässät. We have a Devils jersey worn by the Minneapolis native in 2003-04, his first of three seasons with the club. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the familiar Devils team crest in layered red, white and black tackle twill, “10” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material along with “Rasmussen” across the affixed nameplate. Sporting marks over the front and sleeves, there is some blue paint transfer beneath the team crest, with board burns over each sleeve which includes small resulting holes on and near the left elbow. There is also a hole over the reverse to the left of the numbers. A MeiGray patch numbered “B05507” sits over the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
