Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Spending a pair of prosperous seasons in the NAHL with Alaska which included scoring 47 points in 55 games in 2009-10, Jake Parenteau then attended the University of Minnesota for four seasons, with a Big Ten Conference championship won as a senior in 2014. We have a Golden Gophers jersey worn by the Shafer native in 2011-12, a season that witnessed a Frozen Four appearance. A Nike label with “54” sizing is affixed to the collar, with an embroidered WCHA patch over the right breast. Styled with the school’s trademark large “M” over the chest in layered white, gold and burgundy tackle twill, “6” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with the “Frozen Four” crest over the left shoulder. There is also a Nike swoosh crest beneath the tie-neck, with the dual-clasp style fight strap intact. Great use is exhibited on the garment, with board burns and resulting holes over each sleeve, with additional burns over each shoulder. There are also a couple large team repairs over the left sleeve, with pilling over the lower front.
