Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
An Edmonton draft choice in 2005, Danny Syvret skated in 26 games over 2 seasons for the Oilers, with the majority of his career spent in the AHL. Hailing from Mark Messier night on Feb 27, 2007, when the superstar witnessed his jersey being raised to the rafters of Rexall Place, we have an Oilers jersey that was worn during the first and second periods by Syvret. An Elite label remains affixed to the collar near a “56” size tag, with Reebok and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the famous oil drop team crest, the V-neck sweater has been accented with layered tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the Mark Messier “11” patch over the right breast. A patch from MeiGray numbered “D09545” sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA from the Oilers to accompany.
Worn for just a pair of periods, the jersey exhibits light wear which includes faint board burns over the left sleeve, with what appears to be blood staining over the team crest and lower front.
