A three-time First Team All-Star with consecutive selection from 2002 to 2004, Markus Naslund spent 15 seasons in the NHL, with the Lester B Pearson Trophy won in 2003. The Hart Memorial Trophy finalist also represented his homeland on numerous international occasions, including at the World Championships and Winter Olympics. From his time with the Vancouver Canucks, we have skates worn by the Swede in 2007-08, signed gloves worn in 2002-03 and a pair of sticks used in the early-to-mid-2000s along with a signed replica Canucks jersey.
The gloves are Mission models in solid black with “Naslund” embroidered, with Getty Images #1439623 showing the same models, with just light use, with each signed in silver paint pen. The skates are Bauer Supreme One90 models with intact laces from circa 2007-08 season (Getty Images #77222911 showing these models), with “Naslund” and “19” embroidered over each reverse, with Naslund signing each skate over the blade holders in black marker. Light to moderate use is visible, with a few cuts and slices, along with puck marks to the blade holders. The jersey has CCM labeling (size 56) and tackle twill team crest and numbers, with Naslund signing the reverse “1” in black marker, with no issues for the signature. The first stick is solid black and was used from circa 2002-03 (Getty Images #52321480, #52321496, #52321463), with the original tape over the blade and knob, with Naslund signing the heel section in black marker. The stick shows light use and remains uncracked. The second stick is a Bauer ONE60 model, with these used in 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2007-08 (Getty Images #56498202, #72124529). “Naslund” is stamped over the upper shaft, with the original tape over the handle, with the blade tape removed for the large signature. The stick shows good use with a large crack over the lower shaft, repaired with clear tape.
